Knee 5 Oct

Dear Cristina
A Senior MSK physiotherapist - Ciprian Pup - telephoned today regarding my right knee. One of his colleagues who had given me exercises in April has left the service and he has taken over.
He knew about the right knee situation and I told him that Prof Price had arranged a steroid injection to the left knee in early September. Mr Pup was au fait with the X-ray in June, the left knee"having mild arthritis" as he put it.

I was informed that the NHS would not back any operation until the left knee worsens. I am scheduled for an NHS steroid injection in December. The situation will be reviewed in March when Mr Pup anticipates that the knee will have improved.

Going back to our first session, we had been faced with the continual news that millions of patients were waiting long periods of time for essential operations. The Manor was our only option.
We have been content with the Manor provision but feel that now the NHS has restarted looking into my situation it is possibly time to drop our plans with Andrew for the time being.
Many thanks to Andrew and you for all he and you have done to improve my situation.
With best wishes
AFH
